This study focuses on the proposal to establish Intercommunal Work Centers (CTI) as a solution to reconfigure urban space in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 34 communes of Greater Santiago are examined, grouped into 5 macrocommunes, with the objective of locating at least one CTI in each macrozone. A macro simulation methodology is used that weights socio-territorial variables, including socioeconomic level, level of study, employment, overcrowding and internet connection. The results offer a solid basis for optimal localization of CTIs based on these variables.Downloads
